Team members from The DNA Shoah Project were in Alexandria, VA, November 7-10, 2008, participating in the World Federation of Jewish Child Survivors of the Holocaust annual conference. Syd Mandelbaum, project cofounder, addressed the group Friday night after dinner and project staff collected genetic contributions from nearly half of the conference attendees.
