The Biotechnology Computing Facility is a research computing facility offering education, training and technical support to University of Arizona faculty, staff and students working in the life sciences.

Gene Code Forensics, Inc. has generously donated their M-FISys forensic matching software to this project. Originally developed at the request of the City of New York following the September 11 terrorist attacks, the program was subsequently used following the Indonesian tsunami of 2004. M-FISys possesses the ability to mangage forensic DNA evidence on an unprecedented scale.

The American Red Cross’ Holocaust and War Victims Tracing Center in Baltimore, Maryland, is the national clearinghouse for persons seeking information on the fate of their loved ones missing since the Holocaust and/or for those needing documentation of forced labor, internment or deportation that may be necessary for reparations claims. Their pioneering efforts with the International Tracing Service of Bad Arolsen, Germany have provided unparalleled access to wartime European archives and result in expedited replies to searches.
